Dundee's administrator believes the First Division club could cope with being handed a 10-point deduction.
Bryan Jackson met the Scottish Football League board on Thursday to discuss the Dens Park club's current plight.
The Tayside club may face sanctions after entering administration for the second time in seven years.
"The meeting went well and I certainly feel that I got a fair hearing. We await the outcome, which I believe is going to be on Monday," Jackson said.
The SFL, which will reconvene on Monday, has sweeping powers under Rule 44 of its constitution to deal with any club that has breached league rules.
Jackson insisted he has not been given a steer as to possible sanctions.
"I know there's been a lot of press about a 10-point deduction and I have to say that there's been no indication given to me, whatsoever, about what it might be," he said.
"If that was the result, I believe it's something that we, as a club, would be able to cope with."
Jackson was upbeat after his meeting with the SFL board and said he expected a decision at about 1400 GMT on Monday.
"I'm hopeful that any sanctions will be minimal, but I've no indication what they may be," he added.
"We believe we've retained the integrity of the club; with the squad that we've kept and the support we've had has been absolutely fantastic.
"And we've had an incredible amount of donations, which has all been very positive.
"I've been feeling much more positive about the situation."
