Right today's question is this:-

Only three players have scored for the Scots against Brazil, name them?

I watched the 50 World Cup shocks on BBC3 last night, and Scotland versus Brazil featured a lot.

Strachan
Murdo McLeod
Weir

Time for me to think harder. One was definately a centre half..........I think.

Ah, Collins may have been the scorer of the Strachan goal.
That would have been in 1998.

Scotland qualified for five or six world cups on the trot, and played Brazil three or four times. I thought that they got a 0-0 once, and needed a 0-0 once to qualify from the group when Leighton fumbled late on and Brazil scored to win 1-0.

The other two goals must be from 1974 or 1978. Well before my time.

I have heard of Narey but not of Chalmers.

I say Stevie Chalmers, David Narey and John Collins

 clapping Correct Jimmie.

The full details are:-
In five friendly meetings, Scotland have only scored one goal; by Stevie Chalmers in a 1-1 draw in Glasgow before the 1966 World Cup. At the 1982 World Cup, David Narey scored in a 4-1 group stage defeat, while at the 1998 final John Collins scored a penalty in a 2-1 defeat.
