The top of the league looks like this:

1     Norwich     34     34     72
2    Leeds United    33    30    67
3    Charlton    34    21    63
4    Colchester    33    17    62
5    Swindon    32    15    60
6    Huddersfield    34    20    58
7    Millwall    33    15    58
8    MK Dons    33    0    49
9    Bristol Rovers    33    -7    48
10    Southampton    32    26    44
11    Walsall    33    -2    43
12    Yeovil            34    -3    41

I must say I thought Leeds were a stick on to win this, but they won't really mind if they finish 2nd. So it's Norwich, Leeds & Charlton via the Play-offs

Norwich look good for automatic promotion.

The rest is up for grabs. I think that Colchester have blown it with their recent indifferent run.

The top six (Norwich, Leeds, Millwall, Charlton, Swindon and Huddersfield), should remain as it is. Big fight for second, although Leeds look to have steadied the ship.

Exeter v Huddersfield, 15:00
Leeds United v Bristol Rovers, 15:00
Millwall v Swindon, 15:00
Oldham v Charlton, 15:00

I think Huddersfield need a minor miracle to get auto matic promotion, but I think where Charlton will beat Oldham, this won't be enough, as I think Millwall and Swindon will cancel each other out, leaveing the way clear for Leeds to secure 2nd spot with a home win over Bristol Rovers.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8667951.stm

Five teams will be fighting for the right to be promoted from League One to the Championship alongside Norwich on the final day of the League One season.

Second-placed Leeds, on 83 points, can secure the second spot if they beat Bristol Rovers at home on Saturday.

But if they slip up, the winner of the match between third-placed Millwall and Swindon would go up, while Charlton and Huddersfield are also in the running.

Tranmere, Gillingham, Hartlepool and Exeter are fighting to avoid the drop.

Tranmere, currently occupying the fourth relegation spot, are level on points with Exeter on 48 but the Devon-based team's superior goal difference means they are just out of the drop zone.

However, Rovers' final game of the season is against bottom side Stockport, who are already relegated, while the Grecians face a far more difficult ask against promotion-chasers Huddersfield.

Town, in sixth place on 80 points in League One, have a slim chance to snatch the second promotion slot but they need a big victory over Exeter as well as the other results going in their favour.

Above them are Millwall and Swindon, who face each other at the New Den.

Both teams are level on 82 points, but the Londoners are just in front because of a superior goal difference.

Either team could still qualify for automatic promotion should they win the crucial match on Saturday afternoon and Leeds draw with or lose to Bristol Rovers at Elland Road.

Meanwhile, Charlton, who play Oldham away, could still sneak into the top two - but only if they earn three points at Boundary Park, Bristol Rovers beat Leeds and Millwall and Swindon draw.

 thinking

1 Norwich 45 17 3 2 48 20 12 5 6 41 25 44 95 >>> 98
2 Leeds United 45 13 6 3 39 18 11 5 7 36 25 32 83 >>> 86
-------------------------------------------------
3 Millwall 45 16 5 1 45 13 7 8 8 28 29 31 82 >>> 85
4 Swindon 45 13 8 2 42 25 9 8 5 29 29 17 82
5 Charlton 45 14 6 3 41 22 8 9 5 28 26 21 81 >>> 84
6 Huddersfield 45 14 8 1 52 22 9 3 10 29 32 27 80

Huddersfield & Swindon will lose but the rest will win, I think.

Leeds won, and are up. 2-1, as I predicted.
