The last 'concert' I went to was Muse at Sheffield Arena, but been to plenty of Gigs since.

The last band I saw was 'Camera' in Chester last friday night.

Got tickets to see Hockey at Manchester Academy in a fortnight, and The Courteeners in Brum in March

Yup, saw The Courteeners 3 times that year. Saw them support the 'phonics in Liverpool

They did the warm up for the 'Phonics tour at the uni where I work.

Thats them yes.

They are better playing the harder songs, the acoustic stuff is a lot poorer

Going to see Hockey next Thursday at Manchester Academy 2. Saw their first UK appearance last year at Birmingham's O2 Club Academy, and were brilliant

Hockey were pretty good on Thursday, even if they did seem a bit off the pace, but was a decent hour set, and three song encore.

Chiddy Bang, the support, weren't my cup of tea at all, all samples of other songs, overlaid with freestyle rapping. Have to admit he was a good free styler, asking the crowd for things to rap about, and getting all three words to rhyme within one sentence.

Half Man Half Biscuit

A great band! Fantastic live. `A country practice` is one of my favourite songs of all time. I`m maybe going to see Alasdair Roberts on Sunday. Defo going to see the Bundles in May and Stornaway in April.

We spent most of our English GCSE days chattering about HMHB. My two favourites are 24 hour Garage People, and the Referee's Alphabet.

The youtube video for Restless Legs is good 'an all

The Courteeners were on top form last night, even if Fray's voice was cracking...although that shows how far they've come that the fans can sing the words.
A couple of the new songs sound a lot better live, and a couple of the better sounding ones on the album were a bit of a let down.

Plenty of knobheads in the crowd
