"It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. About Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could phone home"

Damon Albarn's virtual pop band Gorillaz are to replace U2 at the Glastonbury Festival next month.

The announcement comes a day after the Irish band were forced to pull out following Bono's back surgery.

Organiser Michael Eavis promised "a massive audio visual spectacle which will really ignite the Pyramid Stage".

I don't think that I'll ever go back.

Been there, done it, got the memories ...

I think that I've put my Glastos to bed.

 Cheers
