I used to hate it, then one day put it on just for a bit of background noise while doing college work. Next thing I knew, it was 11 at night, having watched it entranced for 4 hours

"It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. About Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could phone home"

Just watching the Hendry v Zhang match on Eurosport. It's brilliant.

Hendry went 4-0 up now this 18yr old chinese lad has comeback and is now in front at 9-7 just needing 1 frame. Hendry is in a good position to take the 17th frame but needs to close it out to get to 9-8.

Right Hendry takes it so we are now at 9-8 to Zhang. He is still in it but can not afford to lose a frame or he's out.

Well this match is just brilliant. Hendry gets another so it is now 9-9. That leaves just one frame and the winner of this frame goes through to the second round.

Well well it's all over and the final frame went to Hendry.

Neil Robertson becomes the first Australian to win the world snooker title as he holds his nerve to beat Scotland's Graeme Dott 18-13.  clapping
