Good pressure batsman are hard to find.  That is very true about KP , He can not afford to do a Flintoff like when the English came to Aus.  Flintoff batting went down the drain, He had too much pressure as a captain. You should play for Bangladesh they need a good pressure batsman, Got Aussies 5/198 and got out 9/123 the last batter was injured, I player scored over 50 runs. The can not take the pressure well and then all there batsman fall. It was a golden chance missed. I hope Monty P plays I love watching him play aswell as KP.  Hope the Ashes will be like the 2005 ashes. They were a cracker to watch.

Infirness, its not hard to be a pressure batsman at the standard I play at, all you have to do is play straight, nobody has got much pace, so they aren't going to beat the edge much, and when ever ball falls shorts, it going to get dispatched.

ah, i hope its as good as the 2005 ashes were. I was on edge of my seat for each test match, any of the tests could have gone either way.

Massive day in the world of Bassettlaw Cricket and for Cutthorpe Cricket Club, Today is the day of the Tomlins final, its an invertational cup competition that is highly rated, and is always played at Worksop, where Nottinghamshire sometiems play. Although this year is different, as we've changed venues, because of the weather recently.

I'd like to wish our boys good luck, and hope we can bring the tophie home, as we've struggled to do this, as in 9 finals we've won one.

Caythorpe 2nd XI v Cutthorpe 1st XI

1pm start

Cutthorpes final in the Bassettlaw league final if over, and it ended with CAYTHORPE 2ND IX  beating Cutthorpe in their final game of the Bassetlaw season, before the Derbyshire side changed from a Nottingshire based League to the Derbyshire League.

Writing this myself, and being at the game and being a Cutthorpe player, it hurts me, its a nice cup final, but we hav too many cheifs and not enough indiains ( slang word for too many leaders, and not enough players)

On our day we should have won the game,, we even had 3 over sea players, one being a pro player, ( he looked awsome with the ball) too quick, but we wasnt good enough

Well done Caythorpe 2nds, You Are the CHAMPIONS!!

Sad

What do you think of the ICL taking and poaching Bangladesh players for money and making Bangladesh players retire so they can play in the ICL for money? ( Hope that makes sense)

I didn' even know that was trying to happen, which is wrong. The player should be proud to play for their Country, I can understand them wanting financial sucurity (sp) but to go against their nation is wrong. Its also disgusting that ICL are willing to do this.

Mashrafe Mortaza and Mohammed Ashraful had been approached my the ICL and they have been offered over two million to go play for three years on the contract of they can not play for the national side. They have both refused. Which is good to see.

That is great to see, least it shows its county over money for them.
