American football has started again this week. Anybody like this, watch this?/

I watch this on Sky when I can and am a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Never watched American football before.

Its funny how America has all these sports but has never invented a good one themselfs. The have just tweaked bits here and there. Like baseball was basically rounders.

Me, Too I am Philadelphia Eagles fan. I do not follow it much. I go for them since my AFL team former player Sav Rocca plays for them. How is he travelling?

Only first game of season today m8 and your boy is the punter.

We are currently murdering St Louis Rams winning 38-0 in the 4th quarter.

Rocca has had 4 punts 3 of which were inside the 20 yard line. His longest is 48 yards and his average is 41.5. Not bad so far.

What a stupid sport this is. A load of stupid yanks wearing thousands of layers of protective clothing needing a rest every minute so they can get their breath back after running all of two yards

They wouldnt last 2 minutes on a rugby pitch

Typical response from someone who hasn't bothered to try and watch or understand another sport and writes it off in one fell swoop.

For your information many british sportmen have tried to make it in the NFL and can't. When they get there they find out just how unfit they are compared to the NFL guys.

Ok Roo if you want to know. The Eagles murdered the Steelers on Sunday gone. They sacked the steelers quarterback 9 times and but for the Steelers defence would have a bigger margin of victory.

Your boy Rocca came on to punt 5 times and his best was a 64 yard punt which was good.

Toughie for Rocca and the Eagles this week. As they are at Chicago Bears.

So we will see how they go. Can see your man getting to punt a fair bit in this one.

I like the American Footy but don't watch it as much as I used to.
My favourite team is Minnesota Vikings,only because I always went them in John Madden's football on the Sega Mega Drive years ago. Cheers
