Right guys, heres your stay about traveling to away grounds, its about giving information to other members about parking around the ground, if its easy to find the stadium, either from the train station, or sign posts in the car. Also talk about decent places to drink, have food outside the stadium. You can also give information regarding prices of admission, food, drink and programme prices and qaulity, and also stadium facilities.

I will try and sort out a template to use in the next couple of days.

If anyone is looking for Celtic Park to for the first time remember Celtic Park is not actually in Glasgow ok.

Celtic Park is actually in a town called Thurso just up a wee bit from Inverness.

Cheers

Heres the template to use for match day quide, please give information as much as possible on each area, also rank each section from 1-10, 1 being awful and 10 being fantastic.

Once this area becomes popular with posts, I shall see about making it a sub form

Team - Stadium

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well?

Car Parking - How close, was it a reasonable price? If applicable

View and comfort ?

Catering and facilities ?

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ?

Overall score out Of 10?

Seeing as tomorrow is Fulham v West Ham will give my guides seeing as i like both places.

Team - Stadium - Craven Cottage, Fulham

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well? - If your driving then park down some side roads by Putney high street. safe and only a 20min walk which is quality :blacknwhitescarf:

View and comfort ? Away end is much better then the home end. no poles in the way and the acoustics are much better. Nice enough leg room but the ticket prices are stupid

Catering and facilities ? Rubbish. and way too much.

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ? The away pub is outside fulham broadway. Apart from that its just a nice walk through the park looking at the lovely but dirty thames.

Overall score out Of 10? 10/10....but im gonna say that no matter what :blacknwhitescarf:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Team - Stadium - "That place across london"

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well? - Tiny walk from the station, but it doesnt seem there is a ground there and wham it hits you in the face,

View and comfort ? Terrible leg room in the away end. every time i have come home with cuts and bumps. View is quite good but i was on the front row last time and was actually underneath pitch level.

Catering and facilities ? tiny place underneath the away stand which doesnt sell much and is way too small, but the good thing is when 2,000 fans are drunk its a quality place to be :blacknwhitescarf:

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ? Never been to a pub by the away ground. i normally drink in fulham before getting on the tube across london. loads of mini corner shops nearby

Overall score out Of 10? 8/10 - Personally i think its quality. around the ground are proper football fans. the badge sellers, people just talking, little kids somehow selling programmes. you can see the tradition at and in the ground.....but please hammers fans....stop singing bubbles every 5mins....cos your ruining it!!!

Team - Stadium West Ham - Upton Park

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well? Get a tube to Upton Park, out of the station, turn right, keep walking, you can't misss it. On the way back, you will be treated worse than cattle by the plod, so be ready to queue for around 20-30 minutes to get into the station after the 1/2 mile walk to the end of the queue

Car Parking - How close, was it a reasonable price? If applicable Never driven though if you park somewhere down the Barking Road, you should be OK. Be prepared for  a long sit in the car after the game, the fans have no road sense!

View and comfort ? Good views, shit seats. Not enough room to stretch out (if you actually sit down)

Catering and facilities ? Rubbish, don't bother

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ? Stay away from the Boleyn Pub. They won't let you in anyway but steer clear all the same. The Central on Barking Road is OK for away fans as is The Queens (if you behave)

Overall score out Of 10? Biased so no score....

come to saltergate, can still stand there. lol. Good good Pappa.

Team - Stadium Name

Droylsden - Butchers Arms

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well?

[color=redon sat nat yes otherwise not very well signed to the ground head for Droylsden main road and the a right near the main shopping arcade you should see the stadium lights then

rating 3 color]
rating 3 color'>

Car Parking - How close, was it a reasonable price? If applicable

Plenty of parking, their is a retail car park at the rear of the away stand. We also parked on the main road, 5 mins down the road from the ground, plenty of spaces.

rating 7

View and comfort ?

We were in the cow shed, awful view, so low to the pitch, couldnt see the near touch line, not steap enough, so all you could see if, their were people infront of you, were heads, and not the pitch. didn't make a different where you moved, was the same when the terrece is full.

on a side note, the orginal away end, is actually a very decent stand, pretty well covered, new style terrecing, plenty of room, and decent views (so im told from a work mate) looked like a very small saltergate kop.

rating1 for cow shed, 3 for normal away end

Catering and facilities ?

a few kabbab places near the ground, also a burger van in the away end, not really seen the prices, nor tasted either.

so rating NA

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ?

Plenty of pubs near by, at least 3 witing seconds of the ground, also a few on the main raod.

Rating 9

Overall score out Of 10?

give it a rating of 5. been to better no league grounds, infact, ive played cricket at matlock, how have their football ground next door which is better

Team - Stadium - White Hart Lane

How Easy Was It To Find? Was it Signed Post well? Really shouldnt comment because i was asleep till we parked!

Car Parking - How close, was it a reasonable price? Parked about 10 minute walk away down some dodgy road

View and comfort ? View was quality as our seat was at the back, and didnt sit down once clapping

Catering and facilities ? service was rubbish but at least they sold alcohol. It was over a pound for a diet coke huh

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby ? Wouldnt reccomend a pub nearby. Wouldve found an away pub but being Boxing day i just wanted to go in then go home laugh

Overall score out Of 10? Always like going there, normally the atmosphere is good but due to us boring the pants off them the atmosphere from them was dire. Hope Spurs dont go with some bowl stadium in the future. will lose its gloss.

Am the one at the back to the right of the cage thingy with a floppy hat and 5 layers on laugh Can see me clearer in the 2nd one with arms out singing
