Isn't the biggest slope at Underhill ?

Been there a few times - you almost need a rope to stay on the terrace

Could well be, It's only that I was told that Fraser Eagle was one of the slopiest (Sp)

"It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. About Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could phone home"

Dunno why there are slopey (sp?) pitches allowed these days.  huh

Surely a bit of digging and re-turfing can sort it out for good, so it isn't an issue any more.

It would cost a fair wack. A decent drainage system alone can run to 100k, and then you're looking at muck shifting a good 100m3 and then laser levelling the root zone, turfing and  establishment.

Obviously a small slope could be gradually taken down over a period of seasons, but Accrington is nigh on a metre higher at one end (as I know to)

Underhill is very bad and much worse. Although at Accrington everything was uneven...the stand was all over the place, one side looked bigger. in fact the whole of the town was stupidly uneven.

Must have missed this thread for some reason, sorry bout that.

been to quite a few matches but don't know if I still have pics. Went to Leeds v Colchester last Saturday and it was diabolical football from both sides. It was just like watching bloody volleyball in the first half. You just wanted to scream at them to play the ball on the ground. Grayson must have said that to Leeds in second half as they tried to keep it down but Colchester were crap. How they are up where they are is beyond me.

Did Blackburn v Liverpool not so long back and may still have an odd photo on my phone. If I have will post tonight.

done a good few Darlo games but getting disillusioned with the football we aren't playing. Our local sunday pub team could do better at times.

Fulham 2-1 Birmingham
Duff, Zamora - Baird(og)

as per normal it was a pretty dull atmosphere due to it being a sunday and not one of the big teams. Bit of a shame but thats the way it is down here. Was impressed by Birmingham but 2nd half Murphy turned his class up a notch and left Bowyer and the dissapointing Ferguson struggling to keep up.

Duff was brilliant and zamora's last minute goal was celebrated with some style, including yours truely ending up 3 seats down the row and a nasty blow to the head... thumbs up

Haha! I got 'injured' at Brentford (v C.U.) once when Dion Dublin put a header just wide, into us - I tried to catch it but it was like a rocket and it nearly bust my finger! ouch.

Nearly fell off  Shock the top-tier at Celtic Park (Row A, block 401) when Paul Lambert scored a belter but the bloke next to me grabbed me!  Cheers to him for that!

Did my shins in at Luton when United put away a good equaliser but the seats at K.R. are too close together  thumbs down

Footy can be dangerous !!

Managed to cut my knee deep at newcastle away, the walk down the thousands of stairs after was a nightmare.

About to book Hull away, Big turnout expected....partly due to Bullard but mostly due to the anniversary of a fulham fan who died 10+ years ago
