Mark lawrenson predicts these scores for the EPL this weekend, do you agree with them?

SATURDAY

Birmingham v Tottenham

Tottenham have had a little bit of a wobble but they had a good midweek victory and there is talk of Younes Kaboul and Eidur Gudjohnsen coming in, and they would be clever signings.

This is a real test for Birmingham, to try to bounce back from defeat against Chelsea after such a good run, but I'm going for a Tottenham away win.

Verdict: 0-2 I say 1-0

Fulham v Aston Villa

Fulham have struggled on the road all season, winning only one game, but they have obviously been solid at home.

But they have just hit a bit of a rocky patch, and Villa got a good point at home against Arsenal in midweek, so I'm going for a rare home defeat for Fulham.

Verdict: 1-2 I say 1-1

Hull v Wolves

Hull have continued shipping goals, which is a big problem, and Wolves got a good point midweek against Liverpool.

I'm going for a draw, which would suit neither side really, although Wolves might take it being away from home.

Verdict: 0-0 I say 1-0

Liverpool v Bolton

Liverpool's problem obviously is going to be scoring, without Fernando Torres and with Steven Gerrard not fully fit.

But if Rafael Benitez doesn't pick a flat back eight, which he did against Stoke away, I'll go for a narrow Liverpool win.

I do expect Bolton to pick up though, it looks like they might sign Jack Wilshere from Arsenal on loan, which will help.

I think they will look to play more football under Owen Coyle. You can see him thinking, let's change it and be a little bit more attacking.

Verdict: 2-1 I say 2-0

West Ham v Blackburn

Blackburn have picked up and I can't believe Sam Allardyce is under pressure, because his aim there is just to finish in the Premier League every season.

Nikola Kalinic has started to score and looks the signing they thought he would be before they bought him.

But because of the feel-good factor at West Ham at the moment I'll go for them to win it. And it would be Sod's law for Blackburn if Benni McCarthy was to score.

Verdict: 2-1 I agree with hin on this one

Wigan v Everton

Some weeks Wigan are naive and other weeks they look really strong and you think they should be further up the league. They are a very strange team.

Everton are on a roll, they have had a some good results of late and I think they might go and win there.

David Moyes has done some good business: Landon Donovan looks a decent player and Philippe Senderos will be a good signing for them as well.

Mikel Arteta came on as a sub on Wednesday, and when they are all fit you can see them going on a good run.

Verdict: 0-2 I say 1-2

Burnley - Chelsea (1730 GMT)

Looking at their performance against Birmingham, Chelsea just look to have raised the bar a little bit.

They have got their Africa Cup of Nations players coming back, most of their players are fit and Frank Lampard is back scoring from open play, so look out Burnley.

I feel for Brian Laws, one of the first things you have to do in a new job as manager is win, and he's not made a particularly good start in terms of results for Burnley.

Verdict: 0-2 Again i agree with this one

SUNDAY

Arsenal v Manchester United (1600 GMT)

I never get too excited about the great big 'Super Sunday' matches, and I just think this one will end up a draw.

Sir Alex Ferguson will have his three central midfield players, whether it's Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher or Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson, and saturate the midfield.

It could be one of those games where there won't be a lot of space, not a lot of time and generally not a lot happening.

Verdict: 1-1 I think the Arsenal will win this 1-0

Man City v Portsmouth (1330 GMT)

Portsmouth could be without Younes Kaboul and David James could have gone to Stoke - it just goes from bad to worse at the club.

It's just a mess, and you look at them and think, "sorry guys, you're going to be relegated".

A lot of their performances this year have been better than their results, but you can't keep taking the better players out of the team and expect to avoid relegation.

City will get over the hangover of the midweek loss to Manchester United - what Wednesday did for them was convince them that week by week, they are getting closer to their main rivals.

Verdict: 2-0 I say 3-1

MONDAY

Sunderland v Stoke (2000 GMT)

I was very impressed with Stoke last week against Arsenal, I thought the front two of Mamady Sidibe and Ricardo Fuller were outstanding.

Sunderland have had a strange season, the first 10 games you thought they were going to finish in the top half and now you think they're looking over their shoulders in terms of relegation.

One or two of their players have not really been at it. They were rolled over against Everton rather too easily, and I can't believe they won't bring someone in before the end of the transfer window. I'm going for a draw.

Verdict: 1-1 I say 1-0

Lawro's predictions

SATURDAY

Liverpool v Everton (1245 GMT)

How many games that kick off at lunchtime are any good? That's my first bit of beef with this one.

Everton go into this game on the back of some very good form in the league. They've brought in two good deals in striker Landon Donovan and defender Philippe Senderos, and David Moyes must be a contender for manager of the month.

Liverpool have turned the corner in terms of results but I still think they are way short in the way they are playing. What is encouraging for Liverpool fans is that manager Rafael Benitez is picking a more attacking team. Despite Liverpool's recent results though Everton fans must feel that this is their best chance for a while of causing an upset.

Verdict: 1-1 i say 2-1

Bolton v Fulham

Fulham have just halted that run of five straight league defeats while Bolton are slowly coming to grips with the way new manager Owen Coyle wants them to play.

Fulham have one or two problems in certain areas as everyone knows. Defensively in the last few games they have not been great but also they have not created that many chances. Andy Johnson is possibly out for the rest of the campaign and that is a blow but the thing with that is they have not had him for that much of this season anyhow, so they shouldn't miss him too much.

Verdict: 2-1 I say 1-1

Burnley v West Ham

It is time for Burnley to arrest their form. At home they have generally been quite good but have recently started to lose a few games and new manager Brian Laws will want to turn Turf Moor into a tough place to go again.

West Ham must have been boosted by the recent takeover and also have three new strikers. I don't know how many will be available for Saturday but that will make a big difference to the dressing room.

Verdict: 1-1 I say 1-2

Hull City v Manchester City

Hull played well against Chelsea and had a chance to go 2-0 up. But the problem will be that there are one or two City players whose form is irresistible.

Striker Carlos Tevez springs to mind as does forward Craig Bellamy. There is competition for places, striker Emmanuel Adebayor is returning, midfielder Patrick Vieira could start and winger Martin Petrov is also knocking on the door. So I'm going to go for a Manchester City win as they have the bit between their teeth in terms of that fourth place and manager Roberto Mancini will leave no stone unturned in their preparation for the match.

Verdict: 0-2 I say 1-3

Manchester United v Portsmouth

It goes from bad to worse for Portsmouth. Every day a new story comes out of Pompey and you've got to feel for their supporters. They must just wonder what has happened to their club?

Manchester United turned in the performance of the season by any club on Sunday. They went to Arsenal and completely tore them apart. Wayne Rooney is in irresistible form and there is only one winner in this one.

Verdict: 3-0 I say 4-0

Stoke City v Blackburn

Stoke are improving week by week. Goalscoring is still a problem for them although I think they will resolve that issue and I fancy them to win this one. Set pieces will be a big factor in this game, and it could turn into the battle of the set pieces.

Verdict: 2-1 I say 1-1

Sunderland v Wigan

I did not get why Wigan rested so many players against Notts County in the FA Cup. Why not just get yourself into the fifth round of the competition? I know the Premier League is a massive deal, but could the players not have dealt with playing on Tuesday and Saturday? I don't get that decision.

I do worry about Wigan as I feel they look like they have the ability to sink like a stone into the bottom three. What I will say though is that there are probably three worse teams then them this season so they may survive. I know Sunderland's recent form has been poor but I think they'll win this one.

Verdict: 2-0 I say 0-1

Tottenham v Aston Villa (1730 GMT)

I was very impressed with how Tottenham dealt with the challenge of Leeds on Wednesday and they will throw everything at Villa. But these sorts of games suit Villa because of the way they play on the counter-attack.

But I think striker Jermain Defoe looks so sharp, his partnership with Peter Crouch has improved and winger David Bentley's form has improved. I think they'll be a real handful for Villa's back four.

Verdict: 2-1 I say 2-1  thumbs down

SUNDAY

Birmingham v Wolves (1330 GMT)

Everyone knows about Birmingham's fantastic run, but what impressed me about them at the weekend was after being comprehensively beaten by Chelsea they went behind to Tottenham but did not give in. They held on and stuck in there, eventually getting a late equaliser, and that resolve would have delighted manager Alex McLeish.

I think it will be tight but Birmingham will just shade this one. I say 2-0

Chelsea v Arsenal (1600 GMT)

Because of the way Manchester United beat Arsenal, everyone is writing the Gunners off. But they will go to Chelsea and pose some problems. The main problem for Arsenal though is this is the type of game that you miss not having a recognised striker. That is the problem for Arsenal and as a consequence I'll tip Chelsea to win.

I don't necessarily think defeat would rule them out of the title race. After Chelsea they then have Liverpool but the fixtures then get kinder and if they stay in the mix, they have a very good run-in.

Verdict: 2-0 I say 2-1
