Well, the fireworks have just bloody started - 03:13 on October 31st. They probably won't stop 'til Nov. 6th or later ...

Any of you going out on the 5th ?

The main fireworks & fire are good in Cambridge, we get thousands turning-up. Smiley

I don't mind the organised displays, but I don't like all the stuff people have in thier homes, I think it's so dangerous. I might take Ciaran down the Millhouse, as they are doing a wee display for the kids Friday evening.

The big job in Cambridge is on Midsummer Common. The fire is huge and the f.work display is very impressive. I go every year (unless I'm in Thailand, etc...)  wink .

My kids are too old for the old firework displays etc now, unlike your Ciaran, Jimmie. I tend not to bother anymore.

Don't usually go for the fireworks at home cos they are expensive for the few seconds the bloody things last. That is why if I did do anything it would be an organised display.

Yeah, I'll be going to some organised event, but I'm sure it's on Saturday evening and not Friday
