An Interesting development perhaps. We have now got the Sports Review following us.

This may in turn get us some members as it has 1942 followers which means their followers will see our stuff on their twitter site when they look. So the more we all twitter stuff then the more goes on there.

From what I can see, Myself, Gemma, Niall, Lee, Jane, Trev, Paul, Sandyboy, and a few old members Blue_nose12, shan_Wazza, Saintryan all have twitter accounts. Now I know I have twitted Gemma and Jane in the past, and I think Niall last night. Now when I click on Jane's account for eg., I get

    * message JjaneyD
    * unblock JjaneyD
    * block JjaneyD
    * report for spam


So I click on message and I can send her a message.

Now if I click on say Paul's account I get

    * unblock CambCelt
    * block CambCelt
    * report for spam


No message CambCelt, so how do I send him a tweet  huh

I think the main problem with twitter is twitter themselves. They have done a famously bad job of advertising their service. Instead of asking 'what are you doing' it should be 'what are you thinking'. The general population has this thought in their head that twitter is about (and i hate to use this phrase) telling the world what you're eating for breakfast, its much much more than that.

I love it. Just don't join up expecting to find your friends on there, its not Facebook. When people think social networking, their minds instantly jump to Facebook, and thats not always a good thing. Twitter is as much about meeting new people as Facebook is about getting in touch with old friends.

Sorry about that, i can really get ahead of my self at times.
