My thinking being, that if people have a looksee at the facebook site, and see that members are being rewarded for their efforts, It might encourage people to join up

"It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. About Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could phone home"

Exaccerly, then the facebook group comes up in more circulation = more people seeing it.

Worth looking into anyway

Great Idea to post up winners. No problem and I can do that starting this week if you like.

Only thing I may need to know is your facebok name.
I know Sandy, Brian, Jimmie, Trev  myself as I have them added as friends.
So if Sandy wins I can't post up Sandyboy on facebook as people might not know him or understand it would have to be Sandy Martin - his facebook id.

Yeah I see what you mean. Maybe you should start a thread, and ask people to post up their face book identity's. If someone does not post it up, and manages to win one of the week's competitions, you will just have to post up the user name he/she uses on here.

Another Facebook type thing we could run, supposing Eff facebookers have Premier football on Facebook, is have a Cup tournament between members.

I have taken it on for the time being Roo. It was me that set up the message to all members including yourself (didn't realise you were on there). I also update the news on there etc.

Forgot about that somebody posting here has reminded me about the Facebook site.
There's just never enough time these days. Anyway I shall pop over there and update it.
