....Read any of those match reports?

I mean, if they are being looked at fine, but i can't help but think they make the place look a little spammy for those members that are new. Thats just my opinion though. I just find it hard to believe that anyone is interested in reading what the BBC has to say about what Hereford and Colchester got up to last night, unless they're actually fans of either team.

The reason they are there Dan is that members have stated that they look out for those sides, we only cover the games that members have requested we do. For eg. yopu being a leicester fan, you might also look out for the likes of Derby or Forest etc. results as they are local to you.

Yeah but i'm guessing more often than not you already know those scores, like i said  though its just me. I don't mind having a bit of discussion on the games, but at the moment it seems like someone posts a BBC article, someone posts [insert score here] and then a day later we get another BBC article about how the game was won/lost/drawn/imploded in a giant ball of smoke and fire.

Over time on here I have often thought the same at times daniel.
However what I do know is that when you look at the stats on the threads they are some of the most visted and read on the site. Also we often have a lot of members and guest on at a weekend and perhaps that is what they come for, who knows.

As way of an experiment maybe we could just pick a match and rather than post all we do just put a direct link to the relevant bits from the BBC website and see if it gets the same visits on matchdays. It would need a link to the match preview then on Saturday a link to the match update and finally a link to the match report. Whoever does that will cause four or five visits out of the total but it maybe worth a try.

We've a shortlist of clubs that are relevant to members in here, which we are sticking to at the mo.
