Queens Park Rangers have sealed the permanent signing of Adel Taarabt from Tottenham on a three-year contract.

The gifted attack-minded midfielder, who had two previous spells on loan at Loftus Road, has joined for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Taarabt, 21, has scored some spectacular goals during his time with Rangers and is delighted to be back at the club.

The Morocco international claims he had other offers but only wanted to return to Neil Warnock's side.

"I'm delighted to be back," he told the club's official website. "It feels like home here.

"I had options to go elsewhere, but what Neil said to me was very positive and I've made the decision to join QPR.

Ambition

"This is the first time in my life that I've had ambition. Before, I'd play football just to enjoy it, but now I've come to an age where I have to step up.

"I don't think there's a manager that wants me as much as Neil does. I feel the club will move forward under him - I've come here because next year I want to play in the Premier League."

Warnock has been patient in his bid to re-sign Taarabt this summer and is thrilled to finally have landed his man.

"He's a player who has got a unique talent and I'm hoping that we can channel it for the good of QPR," said the Rs boss.

"I've been very patient and I've probably worn him down over the past few months! We're delighted to have him on board and he gives us that little bit of quality that you need."

Good signing by QPR
