Mark Cooper sacked as Peterborough United manager  

Struggling Peterborough United have terminated the contract of manager Mark Cooper after just 13 games in charge.

Championship bottom club Posh have won just once since Cooper took over from Darren Ferguson on 14 November.

Cooper said: "I am deeply shocked and saddened that my contract with Peterborough has been terminated.

"I'd like to offer my sincere thanks to all of the players, all of whom have been 100% behind me, and to my staff," he added, in a prepared statement.

He did well at Stocks. When I read 'Gannon' I think of Stockport. But I dunno about what he'll do in Pottyburra  huh ...

What makes me laff even more is the timing of Coopers sacking  hysterical  ... and after Fergie jr getting the push from posh, it's like they are trying to spoon-it on purpose!

I hope they have a miserable season.  Cheers
