Cardiff City boss Dave Jones says it is flattering to have been linked with the vacant manager's post at Fulham.

But Jones says the Premier League side has made no approach and stressed that he remains loyal to Cardiff.

"I'm fully committed here... I'm fully behind this football club," Jones said.

"I can assure our fans that I am - as always - 100% working at this football club to try and get things right, as I have done every season and during the season."

Jones has remained among the bookmakers' favourites to take over at Craven Cottage following the departure of Roy Hodgson to Liverpool.

The Cardiff boss has been ranked alongside the likes of former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson and ex-Tottenham boss Martin Jol, although the Dutchman has since opted to stay with Ajax.

"It's nice to have that written about you of course, I'm not going to lie and say that it isn't," Jones added.

"But this football club for the last five years has got everything I've got, my family and me."
