FA.Com

FATV to show two Fifth Round replays live.

Tottenham Hotspur v Bolton Wanderers
Aston Villa v Crystal Palace
The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON
Fifth Round Replays
8pm, Wednesday 24 February 2010
Both games live on FATV*

Two FA Cup replays will be streamed live on FATV simultaneously next week, with Tottenham Hotspur hosting Bolton Wanderers while Crystal Palace travel to Villa Park.

Tottenham missed a second half penalty at the Reebok Stadium which might have seen them through to the Sixth Round, while a late header from Stilian Petrov prevented an improbable Palace upset.

Both sides now take a second attempt to make it into the last eight, with viewers on TheFA.com able to choose between two exciting FA Cup clashes free to air with FATV.

Chelsea's 4-1 victory over Cardiff City was streamed exclusively live on FATV on Saturday, while earlier rounds have seen the likes of Bristol City, Tranmere Rovers, Wolves, Leeds and Oldham all featured.

* FATV ties are available only to viewers in the UK and Ireland

It's a bit weird watching it, for about half hour before kick off, its just the camera trained on the ground, until two minutes from Kick-off, when the commentary kicks in, and then again at half time, commentary goes off, and its just the pitch for 15 minutes, overhearing the crowd and the tannoy.

Vale's FA Cup replay with Stevenage was the 2nd game to broadcast after Leeds vs someone

"It's about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It's about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it's about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. About Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could phone home"

Yea cos they have bags of cash so it has a bigger bandwith and can take more punters watching. Thing is they never advertise it much.

Be honest til I posted the article how many of you had any idea they were on there?
