Hibernian, trophy winners in 2007, will host Brechin in the second round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.

Dundee United visit Alloa, Kilmarnock are at home to Morton and Hamilton Accies travel to Ross County.

St Mirren go to Ayr United, while St Johnstone visit Arbroath and Fife rivals Dunfermline and Raith Rovers meet at East End Park.

Partick Thistle entertain Queen of the South, Inverness host Albion Rovers and Dundee go to Forfar.

The Scottish Premier League teams involved in Europe will enter the competition in the next round.
 
Celtic are the defending champions, having beaten Rangers after extra time at Hampden in March.
